If there’s one thing I hate, it’s buying batteries for things like my TV remote. NEC to the rescue.
The company has cooked up a prototype remote that operates off of the energy used to push the buttons on the remote itself. Yet another invention that falls into the “why didn’t I think of that?” category.
Now, if they can do the same for my kid’s toy dinosaurs, it’ll save me a fortune.
