Samsung Galaxy Tab Reviews

by Eric on November 9, 2010

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-powered tablet that features a 7-inch touch screen display, a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G connectivity.  While Steve Jobs has dismissed the 7-inch Android tablet genre as a fad, there is a lot of buzz surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab as the first bit Android-powered tablet, which is headed to all major cell carriers.  Check availability on Amazon.com.

The first batch of reviews for the Galaxy Tab are out.  I’ve collated several reviews below and will attempt to update this list as additional, relevant reviews roll in. [click to continue…]

Blackberry Tablet, More Than A Rumor

by Joe on July 13, 2010

The rumor mill has been churning for quite some time now over a tablet from RIM.  According to Betanews a close nit insider confirmed all the speculation.

From all indications the Blackberry tablet (if we may call it that) will be a 7″ device with a 1GHz Marvell Processor that has two cameras for video conferencing and will support Adobe Flash.

With the large market share Blackberry owns in the business sector a Blackberry tablet could gain a lot of steam fast.  iPad may be the biggest game in town right now, but a tablet for the business class could trump Apple. (no pun intended)

Amazon has dropped the price on their amazingly popular e-reader, Kindle, to $189.00 from $259.00.  For those not familiar with Kindle, basically it is a portable reader that you can download books and periodicals in 60 seconds from just about anywhere thanks to the 3G wireless connectivity.  No worries because there are still no fees for the 3G service.
