Amazon has flipped the switch to make over 5,000 movies and TV shows available for free instant streaming to paying Amazon Prime subscribers, which runs $79.99 per year (and will remain the same price).  The titles are rather duplicitous over what existing Netflix subscribers get; however, if you are a paying Amazon Prime subscriber, you can’t argue with free. eLocity A7 Android 2.2 Tablet up for Pre-Order

The coming eLocity A7 Android 2.2 tablet is coming soon.

The A7 tablet features a 7″ touchscreen display powered by Android 2.2, and has 512MB RAM, a 1GHz processor and 4GB of internal memory.  The A7 can connect to the interweb trough its 802.11b/g wireless adapter.

The Android tablet also features Bluetooth connectivity, 1080p HDMI out, a Micro SD card slot, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a USB 2.0 port.

Amazon has dropped out a new brighter lower priced Kindle DX.  The Kindle DX still maintains free 3G wireless and wears a new graphite colored enclosure (still comes in white too).  Amazon says the new high contrast e-ink and updated display make for a 50% brighter Kindle DX and the price has been reduced to $379 from $489.  The new Kindle DX will begin shipping on July 7th and is available for pre-order at the link below.
