
The Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field is a rugged tablet computer geared toward demanding field operations and is based largely on the regular flavor Toughbook H1. The Toughbook H1 Field packs a 6-foot drop rating and features Windows 7 OS, and Intel Atom Z540 processor, 2GB RAM, 64GB reinforced flex-connect SSD HD, a 10.4-inch XGA dual-touch LCD panel and 2 hot-swappable batteries, which are good for a total 5 hour battery life.
Connection options on the Toughbook H1 Field include 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 EDR and optional WWAN / Gobi2000 mobile broadband. The Toughbook H1 field runs $3379 in base configuration and should be available in March 2010.
