The Samsung HMX-E10 is a compact video camera that captures 1920 x 1080 HD video in H.264 format. It features a 270-degree swivel lens, a 2.7-inch touch screen LCD and an HDMI port. The E10 can also capture 8MP still iamges and uses microSD media for storage.

The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is a 3D camcorder that employs a 3D conversion lens in addition to a standard 2D lens capable of recording 1080p video in AVCHD format. When capturing 3D video, however, the SDT750 captures left and right images at 960 x 1080 resolution, which makes for a less-than-HD experience.
The SDT750 should be available in October 2010 at an initial retail price of $1399.
The Panasonic HM-TA1 is a pocket-sized video camera that is capable of shooting 1080p HD video in MP4 format, and is looking to take a bite out of the Flip camera‘s market. It can also capture 8MP still images. The TA1 records to SD memory cards and is compatible with the new SDXC format.
The Panasonic HM-TA1 should be available in purple, gray and red in August 2010 at an initial retail price of $169.95. Check availability on Amazon.com.
The Sony HDR-CX550V is a camcorder which features Full HD 1080 AVCHD video capture, 12MP still image capture and a 10x optical zoom. It fits the prosumer category and price range at around $1200. Ron and Amy Jo Proctor of Weber State University has shared this home grown 3D, HD video which was put together for about $250 US dollars and a pair of Kodak Zx1 Cameras. It looks to be very rudimentary, but maybe they will keep giving it the good ole college try and come up with something better.
The pair of Kodak Zx1 cameras were mounted on a homemade jig at 6.5cm baseline an affixed to a standard tripod. the cameras were simultaneously manually activated and then processed in editing software.
The Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 are new additions to Panasonic’s line of 3MOS HD camcorders. Both cameras offer 1080p HD video capture at 60p. Both cameras can also capture 14.2MP still images when in still image mode and 13.3MP still images from recorded video.

Consumer level 3D televisions and Blu-ray 3D made big waves at CES 2010 back in January and now less than a month later Panasonic has announced that Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory has recently equipped the Advanced Authoring Center with the latest 3D technologies.
