Acer Launches Ultra-Thin S1 Monitor Line

Acer’s new S1 series LED monitors are ultra-thin and budget-minded.  The 20″ model measures 13mm thick, while the other two are 15mm thick.

With the 20-inch, 21.5-inch and 23-inch model ringing in a $170, $220 and $270, these are sure to attract tightwads looking for what should be attractive displays. The 21.5″ and 23″ displays offer full 1920 x 1080 resolution, and the 23″ model offers an HDMI port as well.

Mitsubishi’s 2010 line up of LED TVs is out.  They range from 40 to 55-inches and include a number of features to enhance the overall entertainment experience.  One of the killer new features is StreamTV, which gets your TV online for instant streaming apps like Vudu movies, Pandora radio, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter and more.  Bluetooth audio streaming lets you stream music from any Bluetooth A2DP device (e.g., iPod Touch, iPhone or Blackberry) to your TV.

Lenovo has knocked out the worlds first hybrid notebook the IdeaPad U1 at CES 2010.  IdeaPad U1  embodies two totally separate stand alone devices rolled into one.

The IdeaPad U1 is really more of a netbook size with a screen size at 11.6 inches, but weighs in at a hefty 3.8lbs.  The system boasts an HD LED screen and runs Windows 7.  The two separate devices are said to function seamlessly when connected together and when disjointed processes are uninterrupted.

Release the1.6 pound multitouch screen from the top cover panel and the IdeaPad U1 becomes a handheld slate tablet device with a powerful ARM processor, running Lenovo’s customized Skylight operating system and 3G wireless capabilites.
