Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder

The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is a 3D camcorder that employs a 3D conversion lens in addition to a standard 2D lens capable of recording 1080p video in AVCHD format.  When capturing 3D video, however, the SDT750 captures left and right images at 960 x 1080 resolution, which makes for a less-than-HD experience.

The SDT750 should be available in October 2010 at an initial retail price of $1399.

Panasonic HM-TA1 Pocket Video Camera

The Panasonic HM-TA1 is a pocket-sized video camera that is capable of shooting 1080p HD video in MP4 format, and is looking to take a bite out of the Flip camera‘s market.  It can also capture 8MP still images.  The TA1 records to SD memory cards and is compatible with the new SDXC format.

The Panasonic HM-TA1 should be available in  purple, gray and red in August 2010 at an initial retail price of $169.95. Check availability on Amazon.com.

Panasonic HDC-SDX1 Camcorder

The Panasonic HDC-SDX1 is a compact camcorder that offers 1080i HD recording in AVCHD format.  The SDX1 offers a 23x zoom range, with a 35.8mm angle of view on the wide end.  The SDX1 also doubles as a web cam when connected to a PC, and is compatible with Skype.  Panasonic is touting the SDX1 as the worlds lightest full HD camcorder.

The Panasonic HDC-SDX1 should be available in September 2010 at an initial retail price of $499.95.  Check availability on Amazon.com.

Panasonic has outed some more images and details on its new AG-AF100 camcorder, which teased earlier this year.  As part of the AVCCAM camcorder line-up, many of the specs for the new AG-AF100 are predictable.  However, the interchangeable lens format, and larger format sensor on the AG-AF100 suggest it might be another game changer. Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field

The Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field is a rugged tablet computer geared toward demanding field operations and is based largely on the regular flavor Toughbook H1.  The Toughbook H1 Field packs a 6-foot drop rating and features Windows 7 OS, and Intel Atom Z540 processor, 2GB RAM, 64GB reinforced flex-connect SSD HD, a 10.4-inch XGA dual-touch LCD panel and 2 hot-swappable batteries, which are good for a total 5 hour battery life.

Connection options on the Toughbook H1 Field include 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 EDR and optional WWAN / Gobi2000 mobile broadband.  The Toughbook H1 field runs $3379 in base configuration and should be available in March 2010.

Panasonic HDC-TM700

The Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 are new additions to Panasonic’s line of 3MOS HD camcorders.  Both cameras offer 1080p HD video capture at 60p. Both cameras can also capture 14.2MP still images when in still image mode and 13.3MP still images from recorded video.

Consumer level 3D televisions and Blu-ray 3D made big waves at CES 2010 back in January and now less than a month later Panasonic has announced that Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory has recently equipped the Advanced Authoring Center with the latest 3D technologies.
